Default Reluctant gearchange.

My car is off to the dealers soon to investgate this problem, I have difficulty getting 2nd(not unusual I know) even when hot, and at times 3rd, it often feels as if it's engaged till you lift off the clutch and GGGRRRRRRRRRR noises as its not fully engaged. Also, just at the cluch bite point I can feel a vibration? through the pedal, my wife also drives the car and has the same problem so its not my driving.
The service manager thinks they may need to remove the box to investigate, but, mentioned that Honda had not come across this before, I've done a search and think this problem has reared its head before. Now I have a good relationship with the dealer and dont wish to upset them, but need to know if anyone has had this and what was the outcome. Sorry for the long post but I'm new to the S2 and want to enjoy it fully. thanks for your time.

download and print out what you have found on here. This, at least, should convince the dealer that it's not a one off.

Dealer is probably right about taking the box out to check but from what you say the 3rd gear thing sounds like a selector problem.
Almost anything between the stick and the selctor fork could cause this.

The 2nd gear thing could just be the normal stiffness. Assume you have checked oil levels etc?
