Err yes!

I often need to open the boot when both of my hands are full.

If I were you Mark I would *insist* that Honda UK don't install an alarm on your new car. Get a discount and install a Tracker.

Mine seams to work on a 50/50 basis, if my hands are full, no chance, but no packages and 'ping' up it pops

I do then resort to that sliver of metal on the keyring, rather than try the whole process again....

So if both your hands are full, how do you press the button?

Then.... when you get fed up of the boot not opening with the button, you decide to foget about it and vow to open to boot with the key from then on.

Untill....... you forget to de-activate the alarm first and wakeup the neighbourhood!!!!!

I know I am not a technical giant (having been to a dealer when I couldn't put Rita's window up after we had lowered the roof - well, it was January - and he politely showed me the switch I had flicked that serves that exact purpose!).

However, I've had the car nearly four years and never opened the boot remotely. Am I missing something or is the MY'00 S missing something?

It's in the tech faq or in your Honda alarm booklet
