Default Remote HELP

Hi everyone!
I seem to have bought the car with an aftermarket remote key (two buttons). The problem is, it takes ages till it actually opens the car. I keep pressing the open/close button and sometimes I'm standing for half a minute next to the car till it finally opens. Changing the battery solves the problem for about 1-2 days, then it's slow again.

Also I've heard that the S2000 can have its boot opened from the key! This doesn't work with my current one either.

Question: What remote key should I buy? Are the eBay 3 button ones good enough?

Thanks

You say you have aftermarket remote fobs. Does this mean you have an aftermarket alarm as well.
If so, it's going to be very hard to help unless someone on here is a specialist with that brand of alarm.

Have you got any pictures or a model number of the alarm.

Could you post a pic of the remote fob to clarify which we're talking about?
Love car memes btw

thanks guys for getting back to me! it appears to be a scorpion key fob, which turns out be be a car alarm manufacturer.

I assume there is no way to program it to open the boot then.
