Default Removing map from Flashpro?

Could some body point me in the right direction with regards to removing the map I have on my Flashpro.

I have sold my supercharger without the Flashpro and the buyer as asked if he could have my base map,of course he can, but it may be beyond my basic skills to remove it.I have also got a keen buyer for my Flashpro,is it difficult to unlock it from my car? Thanks in advance.

Full details are on the Hondata site, I've hardly ever plugged mine in to the PC but my understanding is that you need to have the original ECU in the car with the FP connected to to the ECU and computer plugged into the FP.

I'm not sure if you can pull the map from the car or if you have to have it saved on your PC from when it was tuned. Mase tuned mine and I've not really looked at the FP to see what it can do.

As you know the FP is tied to your original oem ECU. There is a menu option to remove it from the car which returns your ECU to standard trim and which will then loose any stored map information. Until the FP is removed from your ECU you can't use the unit with any other car/ECU.

In the Engine management forum on the main board there is a user Genvie who posts a lot of stuff about using the FP. Hondata are also quite good with support, and the latest software (and manual) is a free download from their site.

I've not returned to the orginal map (unlocked it from the car) but have changed the map a few times. The last installed map in the ECU will also be on the Flashpro. All you need to do is connect the flashpro to a PC and using the supplied software (Flashpro Manager) download the map from the flash pro to the PC. You then just save the calibration.

Use th Menu Option "Online>Download", then just "Save as" the calibration file and then email that to the person who wants it.

To return to stock, again on the "Online>return ECU to Stock". Assume you then need to take this to the car and upload to the ECU by pressing the program button.

After that you can unlock the flashpro, again from the Online menu.

HAve a look at the help menu on the flashpro manager, its simple and easy.
