Default Removing Side Badges

I finally got around to removing the Honda badges from the sides last week as I much prefer the cleaner look. I very nearly carried on and took the S2000 badges off also but stopped at the last moment.

I'm sure I would much prefer the look but was wondering whether it would affect re-sale/trade in prospects and prices.

Any thoughts anyone?

f*ck it....

I`m having the wheels off mine on Sunday, maybe have a chair out too......that`ll clean it up.

(not digging, just joking....it seemed funny in my head). Probably isn`t.

Warm the glue up by blowing warm air from a hair dryer over the badges and carefully slide dental floss or fishing line along behind the badges. They come off pretty easily but it can then take 30 minutes or so to remove the remaining glue (I used WD40)

Tif's tape idea should be fine for putting badges back on prior to trading/selling. Just hope it doesn't rain before handing over

I use it to hold on my number plates and it is hellish adhesive in all weathers.

I was less delicate.

Started sawing with packing tape to list slightly, then prised a plastic spatula behind them.

Cleaned off with cellulose thinner.

It's wierd how Honda paint takes such abuse, yet others have had chips/peeling bumper problems.

That's exactly what I did. It took about 10/15 minutes per badge (including cleaning away the glue and polishing over the area afterwards)
