Just do it you lazy git,

It feels so good that I can drop the hood without having to worry about the screen.

Well done mate!

Sorry I did not call you I have been on a course all last week and away in Scotland at the weekend with no access to a PC.

Glad you got it done.

It is.

There are a couple of springs on the 02 frame that are not on the 01 frame. These allow the roof to fold correctly.

The 01 frame can be modified with 'knicker' elastic to get around this.

I would like to a say BIG thaks for everyone that has contributed on this topic...On Saturday I succesfully replaced my roof (with broken plastic rear screen).

I now have a lovely glass window, that I can see out of

Even without the rear heater being operational, 5 mins with the AC on cleared it just fine.

Thanks Guys

Roof is ok, only showing minor wear, BUT how do I remove these clips/nipples???

Thanks

It is quite easy, having done this for Vixen on Tuesday. . . .

Easiest as a 2 person job though.

Remove the space saver and you can get the the first nut - 10mm spanner.

10mm for the nipple side as well.

The second one is harder to get to - but is still accessible.

You'll need to lay in the boot, lying on your back.
