Because a Ferrari or Lambo engine needs a private plate to gain peak performance, whereas the S2000's does not? Right?

I've thought about getting one, but there isn't one available that I'd really want. Plus I'd rather spend the money on handling/performance mods.

yes, bought the plate once I had the car simply because I always wanted an S and wanted (nearly) the plate I have on it as a pair. Bugger the expense, makes me smile when I see her parked up, and as I am not into modding cars suits me.

Got my plate on because its been in the family for 3 genarations now. My dad passed it on to me once i got a nice car.

They enhance the look of the car, IMO. The law says we have to have these awkward rectangular plastic things stuck to the car, so why not make them look a bit less shit?
