Gaffa

We set off in the sunshine on the 3rd August and made our way from Norwich to the Channel tunnel, due to the issues there we were expecting delays, but it was not too bad and were only held up for about 45 mins.

The car was great and handled well even in the wet, i had just fitted 4 new Eagle asymmetrics F2.
Fuel consumption was much better then expected as were averaging 33 MPG even when cruising at over 80 mph

We stayed at lake Garda for 5 days then onto Lake Maggiore for 5 days.
the weather was great until we left to come home then it rained
We just managed to get to the top of the Simplon Pass with the top down before it started, but the Grimsel and Neufen Pass's were a wash out and we were in the clouds and could not see bugger all.








Really enjoyed the car and cant wait for the next rip.

I have done exactly the same trip back in June, had 2 weeks on Garda and a week on Maggiore and then back over Gotthard/Furka/Grimsel and Susten.

We were lucky and had brilliant weather, such a shame to have it wet like you did

I didn't average anywhere near 33mpg either lol
