Rock Steady
I haven't driven a car that's been a solid, planted or as rock steady as the S2000 on the motorway.
It sits there, doesn't deviate at all, the steering wheel hardly moves, it drives as straight as an arrow. This is at 90mph and it seems that it will never get out of shape.
Other sports cars I've driven including TVRs and Elises, have tracked about all over the place and the luxobarges like the big Mercs & Beemers wander about slowly. The S2000 just stays on a single track.
I'm assuming this is down to it being well set up but also the inherent stability of the car as a whole.

after a long furious drive in the s,when i jump into my p reg mongeo.it feels like i am driving a big slow jelly with no brakes
i love the way the s feels so solid and sharp.i feel much safer and confident in it.
i cant imagine what these super cars must feel like to drive if the s feels this good.

LL - that is a good point, they are better but I have driven a number of other cars out here and they still don't compete. The Boxster S doesn't feel as tight on the motorway. It's too busy chasing the camber.
