Default Rotex Vs CT Engineering!

Hi all
I have decided I am going to go for the Supercharger, but not sure which is best

Stage 2 or 3 Rotrex Supercharger
Or
CT Engineering

I have been told the CT Engineering is much easier to fit with everything needed to do the upgrade, and looking atr both kits the CT one looks like a much nicer and better built kit i may be wrong!

I havent heard much about the Rotrex what you recommend?

The car is going to be used as an everyday car.

Thanks

If it's going to be a daily driver I think you should also consider turbo. I'm not convinced SC suits the S for any driving other than track driving. By the time the thing starts spinning you will be travelling at seriously stupid speeds - 100mph+

Good luck either way.

Surely that depends on what gear you are in?

I think a SC suits the S perfectly. I guess saying it doesn't, says that the car in it's current format doens't suit daily driving, as all an S/C is like a normal S on steroids It just accentuates the normal character.

I think it is probably more suited to track than a turbo though.

Not heard of the CT Engineering one though?

Rotrex is an easy search on here - loads of info. Type TTS or Rotrex

When the search is working that is. Which it is not.

Google Search of the S2KI site works though.

Just the new name for Comptech Mark, after they went bust and came back.

Ah ok.

I much prefer the lighter and more compact Rotrex unit over the heavy snail over the front.

I really noticed the weight on mine with the Vortech SC.

I feel some what, it suits the cars high revving nature/power progression.

What!!!
SC makes boost almost immediately as its driven of the crank, if you have had an oposite experiance it must have been completely the wrong size for the application.

Rotrex is better supported over here but to be fair the CT kit has been around longer so will have had all the kinks ironed out, both will require the bottom pulley swapped/ modified which can be tricky, the CT kit can be run out the boxif you go for the standard pulley where the TTS/Rotrex will require maping but gives you more of a bespoke install.
