Nice Manifold on the Turbo car, though not quite up to Keiths version above

 

Though no idea on the stats (BHP etc) of the supercharged S, the turbo obviosuly got shedloads of torque.

Sorry Mark, only just seen this. THe S is living on borrowed time. Its replacement will probably be more boring though, TBH. The CBR is more fun and of course I share a BatCat when I attend track days. Of course, I'll probably regret selling the S within a week of doing so

 

The S2000's gearing is such that if you change up at close to 9,000 revs then you'll drop straight into vtec when you change up a gear. Therefore I don't quite understand your issue re not hitting vtec in 4th. That would only happen if you were shortshifting and changing up from 3rd gear at, say, 8,000 revs. It sounds like perhaps you don't like wringing the neck of the S2000, which is fine. I guess that's why you are considering FI.
