Default Routing of loom to heated rear window (soft top)

Having replaced my soft top with a glass rear window, I'm trying to connect the loom to operate the heated rear window.,

Thanks to Si at Hendy I have all the parts, but I can't figure out how to route the loom from the window down through / behind the side rear trim panel (the bit the roof lowers into). I'm worried it will snag or get caught when the roof is lower and raised....

Can anyone help with some pics?

Thanks

Hi,

This is not perfect but should be a good guide.

Thanks

But that looks like it is for wiring in a hardtop...And I don't have the loom plug in the boot

I'm trying to work out how to route the wire that connects via two tabs to the glass down in to the panel behind the passenger seat (to join the loom from the switch)

Thanks - I have all the OEM parts. I just need to work out how to route the loom from the glass through the trim to behind the seat as.

Looks like I need to drill a hole - I'll have a look on Lings to see if the part numbers for the roof well panel are different for the glass window models

Have a look at that - there's a couple of pics of the loom attached to the soft top and there's plenty of pictures of what you have spacewise to use.

Looks like a complete ball ache to do - I might see if I can drill a hole without having to remove everything...
