They are terrible high, insurance is a rip off and parts are impossible to come by.

Sorry, all the above is wrong and depending on your age you will probably find insurance is less than the S2000, servicing is about the same, parts about the same. But only 6 authorised servicing centres in the UK.

Which are they, Simon? Because I'm considering a 3.2 manual (circa 1999) in IOP as my next car, but if I have to drive 300 miles to service it, I'd have to think carefully.

I'm guessing Slough is one, and Avonvale Honda Coventry is another. Swindon...? Any near Bath or Nottingham would be great!

Cheers Simon, I can see I'd have to take it to Brum for servicing then. Ta!

Are NSX-selling dealers not all servicing dealers then?

Marshalls in Reading have NSX splashed over one of teh windows and have been known to sell them.

I've got both an S2000 and an NSX. As a rule of thumb, tyres are more expensive and wear nearly twice as quickly and clutches cost twice as much and you'll be lucky to see 40,000 miles on one. Other than that the service costs are pretty much the same. Weighed agaiinst it, the NSX has very little depreciation compared to the S2000.

Driving wise the S2000 is just a nice little car, not dramatically quick and is also a little wayward for my liking. NSX clearly quicker, but not the pace of say an EVO. But the joy of driving an NSX is the balance and lack of electro-gismos - think of it as a grown up elise and you get the picture...

Hope this helps
Matt

Oh, and if you've got a decent induction kit, the noise an NSX makes is unf***ingbelievable!
