Thing is, the S2000 is a Boxster-level car, with Civic running costs.

The NSX is a 911-level (or above) car, with less than Boxster-level running costs.

Factor in the boring reliability and they're very convincing.

You cannot compare the driving to an S2000. The NSX is in a league way above in all its dynamics, especially NVH.

Ideally, I'd have both!

Are NSX-selling dealers not all servicing dealers then?

Marshalls in Reading have NSX splashed over one of teh windows and have been known to sell them.
Anyone anywhere can service an NSX, however these are the only garages authorised by Honda to do so.

NSX / S2000 costs, rear tyres I can get for slightly more for the NSX.

Insurance seems to vary but a lot cheaper for the NSX for me.

Petrol, motorway driving high 20's as opposed to low 30's. Fun driving, erm 80 litres might see 200 miles if you are lucky.

Servicing as said seems about the same, tyre wear, so far I have managed 4000 on the rears and they look like new.

Handling, I can achieve a lot higher stable speeds in the NSX as opposed to the S2000.

The only thing wrong with the NSX I can see is the seats could be a bit more hugging and the brakes could be improved. The NSX-R ones I have coming should sort that out for me.

Lower depreciation than most S2000s - if you buy right

More than enough to offset other higher costs I should think

Those 03-05 cars asking

When it came out it was way ahead of its time, and still a bloody good car now. I wont go on but its very much a connoisuers car.

Too late - people have already started comparing a German supercar with an Irish boyband
