Just a quick note. I bought my MY2000 in March 2000 and it had the optional red floor mats installed

FWIW, S2ki has had a FAQ on each of the major changes over the years. Its also NA biased, but more complete - https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/599...001-2002-2003/

Mine's from 2005 and does not have VSA. 2006 is correct for VSA.

It first came optional in 06, and in 08 as standard I think

Sorry to go off topic but is it really worth spending more money and tax on a model with vsa?

If you're looking to daily drive your S, I'd go for a model with VSA. It's a nice feature to have when you're driving in the wet. Mine's a weekend warrior and only drive it on (sunny) weekends, so VSA was of less importance to me.

Also, I believe the models with VSA have a drive-by-wire throttle. Some prfer cable throttle for its quicker response.
