Default S2000 Type V - Any in the UK ??

Just a quick question, did we ever have any of these in the UK as one of our friends from over the pond wants me to find out if I can arrange for him to buy the steering wheel out of the Type V if there are any ??? Any help appreciated.

Should I just ring Southern Counties or should I try the local Spar or 7 eleven ?

It's the Variable Gearing System (VGS).

Supposed to be shit compared to the standard S.

There was one on the Spoon Distributor stand at the recent JAE. Photos on the JAE thread.

But the steering wheel does look IMHO.
I wouldn't mind one myself.

I'm not sure about a Type V (why type V ?) but I'd like Honda to make some of these

www.mcclatchie.com/reviews/S2000R.html

(Sorry didn't seem to like my anchor to make the reference clickable)

(V as in V-Spec for the Nissan Skyline stands for Victory spec and was produced to celebrate Nissans dominance of the race series in Australia)

Try searching, IIRC a few people have looked into putting the Type-V steering wheel on a non Type-V car and have hit two problems. Honda won't sell you the wheel unless you have a Type-V. And it won't fit unless you have a Type-V.
