type V or not type V?? that is the question...
Hi there!
that may sound very stupid but i m actually looking around for an insurance and everytime i tell them HONDA S2000, year 2000, convertible, i've got: "is this the type V or the normal convertible?"...and as i m not aware of the type V thing, i just reply: "it's just the convertible!". anyway, the cheapest i've found so far for my very unusual case (25y/o, M, no NCB, import, left hand drive, value 16,500

The Type V is a JDM only model. It has a squared off steering wheel, along with variable gearing on the steering - the further you turn the wheel, the faster the front wheels turn.
From all the reviews I've seen of it, its actually inferior to drive compared to the normal car - less steering feel and the variable rate takes some getting used to!
