You beat me to it wads. I suspect it would of crept away had it got ahead. The old nsx would of been a threat in a couple of laps time though. Now that was impressive considering how old that was.

Yep. I was surprised to see the lap times from the SLK55 vid (AB posted as well)...... the best the AMG could manage in similar conditions was a 1:07.66 compared to the 987S 1:06.40

P.S. AB do you know what the very last graphic is saying at the end of the Cayman vid? I suspect its comparing the Box and Cayman but can't tell what from the numbers 777?

From what I gather, the new 2.7 should be a pretty good match for the S2K.
I've driven one and it is very good

You're not getting away from it in a hurry.

All my usual hesitation about porsches apply but as a car, sitting behind the wheel and chucking it around the highlands, it is the best thing I have ever driven

Interesting results...the 06 seems to understeer a lot more than previous MYs.
Probably more down to the driver than anything else.

It was being driven by Tsuchiya IIRC and he is a bit of an expert with the S.

The difference is small enough that the Cayman couldn't easily pass but I suspect it would have pulled away from the Box if it was in front.
