Since this is likely the last year of production and the replacement's allegedly in the shredder, a car this affordable's value might actually improve after another couple of icy winters...

I think there is some overvalued cars here.

Check the local prices for Jan, and speak to a few dealers.

If you get more than 7.5K for an 01 with 70K on the clock then you've done really well.

The movement in the market is so slow at the moment, to actually shift a car it has to really really good value to a buyer.

Everything has taken a hit not just the S2000.

My mate has been offered 16k for his 30,000 mile 2005 Boxster 2.7, he paid 30k for it 2 years ago!!!!

Mine is an"00 UK model with 47K FSH, red leather, hardtop and new OEM AP2v1 Alloys/tyres.... Its pretty clean as well.
I'd be lookin 9K comin into the spring. Poss more at the peak of summer.

even with a transplant engine with 30k in the clock i wouldnt realistically expect to get much more than 6k for mine - and thats after i'd fixed the roof and replaced all the tyres.

in its current condition i wouldnt pay more than 5k for it
