I agree totally with your points also, they are factors which you have to weigh up carefully when choosing a demo model or similar.
I have no doubt that my car had been thrashed somewhat in the 5 weeks which the dealer had it but it feels ok for that experience so I am content.

I think our real concerns should be directed at the cars which seem to be emerging which have had several gearboxes or clutches in quick succession. These poor owners must be tearing their hair out, Honda should be doing more for these loyal customers.
If I had waited several months for a car only to have it repeatedly cause problems, then I would be a very upset puppy.

I am intending to change my car before the warranty runs out for another one, hopefully then they will have ironed out all of the problems we are hearing about.
