Hi graham pleased your both ok.

I was going to start another thread but my Incident on friday night is identical to yours although i was on the A5 and not a motorway.

A road i've driven hundreds of times , a section of road has been peraired some time back and the tarmac had sunk over the years and it was full of ice the rest is as you say i was i passenger .

When i finally stopped in the central reservation a couple of cars behind stopped to help , after i got out of the car there were two other cars just up the road who had just done the same.

Highways and police where called ect.
Apart front a lump on my head where i hit the roof i'm fine to can't say the same about the car though, over a year to find and gone in seconds .

Take care people.

Thanks simon,22 years clean licence 4 winters with the s and it caught me out, i've had a bad weekend after the accident in the s i took my campany van out only for the rear brakes to seize on about 2 miles down the A38 i thenk the shoes in the rear drums have fallen apart as it's making some strrange noises. So both vehicles out of action and i'm have to drive to london on monday.

Sorry to highjack your thread graham .

So pleased that all people in accidents on this thread were OK. Having survived an ice-related crash earlier, these are nice solid cars, but the road conditions leave one helluva lot to be desired at the moment ....
