Default Should I consider ..

Should I consider selling my engine, gearbox and ancillaries on a kit car site like westfield or offer it up here?

The engine has 116k on it, so it has been used, a lot. I know people get the heeby jeebies when it comes to high mileage so that leads me to wonder ..

Should I cut the chase and post up else where?

I just don't feel I'd get any interest here, correct me if I'm wrong though please!

The reason why I'll be taking it out is to put an Ls1 in.

Cheers.

The thought crossed my mind and along with it the fear of someone promising to buy it, me ripping it out and then them backing out.

I guess I'll risk it, cheers

Get the conversion started? Aren't you going to be taking the engine out anyway?

Why is this an "either or" question? Why not advertise it on both? and Pistonheads, Gumtree, eBay...

Also consider www.locostbuilders.co.uk too. But you may have to pay to be a member to advertise.

It's a site more aimed at scratch builders and S2K engine would be desirable if keenly priced.

Most kit cars don't do high mileages, so someone will want if priced accordingly. I really wanted a S2K engined Locost, but couldn't find one sensibly priced and if I built it myself, it would probably never get finished
