Snapped - by a mobile phone
I reckon the strangest experience in all my life behind the wheel when sitting at traffic lights tonight a new-ish Astra pulled up behind and the driver and passenger jumped out, sneaked up behind the car and started to photograph the number plate with their mobile phones! Hate to think where they have sent the images to, but by the time they got back into the car the lights had changed - much to the annoyance of the other motorists

Item on TV news last night about Police in Northampton (I think it was) clamping down on illegal numberplates. Seems to be part of a national "initiative". They showd a film of a car showing CHA15Y which had a carefully sited screw on the "A" making it look like an "R". Not the correct font, not the correct spacing.
What is your plate that attracted this attention?

At my age, can't get my head round or find the patience to learn how to load images
The registration numbers are just a bit of fun (and suppose bit of an investment, maybe) The one I did try and sell S600B looked good on the Subaru but no one wanted it. Only E55 has plate that matches the car - L555 AMG. The rest tend to be of a naughtier nature.
