Some differences........
Having bought another S yesterday and driven back from Cockermouth to Merseyside (150 miles or so), there are a few apparent differences between my old car which was a 54 plate and the new car on an 09 plate.
It's been about a year or so since I drove an S2000 and it all seemed so familiar, but I did notice the following;
The ride is a little more compliant and a bit softer.
Throttle is more progressive (DBW) and smoother.
The car doesn't kangaroo in traffic.
Quieter drive train and clutch !!
Other than that it's all pretty much the same and having covered about 23k in my old car over 4 years I have to say that the feel of the old car compared to the new car shows just how well that car was wearing, it always felt strong and tight.
I believe there have been some reliability issues reported on here with regard to 09 cars and I hope mine doesn't have any gremlins !!
Oh, and the old wheels were much better.
