Default South London - Targetting Car, Possibly

Just to give anyone in South London a heads up. Got back from work and someone has been on my drive and removed my car cover to obtain a look at the S. I have checked with other people living in the building and it's not them.

This maybe nothing but I'm fully aware of the value of S parts and so have reported it to local plod.

I have moved my car out of sight but beware of anyone lingering people. I'll be purchasing a webcam tomorrow!

I'm in the Crystal Palace area.

The local plod (not 999, i'm not that daft) said they would pass the information on to the local team. No idea what that means to be honest.

I have since moved my car to the middle part of the drive which is out of sight from passers by so I'm hoping that might be the end of it, fingers crossed!

Might be worth you calling your local station though, think I dialled 101.

get a little rape alarm for a tenner. Attach to your car cover underneath your car. might help one day and think twice before pulling it off

Are you sure the wind didn't blow it off?

If I was a crim, I would put the cover back on as to not arouse suspicion.

Having had the cover blow off on my car, I bet it's the wind.

I did think about this but I'm sure on the day it happened the wind would not have been able to do this. There was very little wind, if any, on the day in question. Plus the cover is quite a snug fit. Because of these factors I'm pretty sure it was not the wind.

My OEM cover does blow off when it's windy. The same happened to me and I thought some scoundrels were scoping out my car. I later discovered it was the wind blowing off the cover

my cover has an armoured cable that goes under the car so the cover can't be removed without the padlock key. Also has an anti tamper alarm.
