i've just had the two recall work done on my '99 s. ive only had it a couple of weeks (it seems the previous owner never got round to sorting them). anyway, i have had a look at the new NGK plugs Crown at Bushey but i can't tell if they're the new platinum ones. the model number on each plug show the first standard numbers....

should there be any visual differences or will i never be able to tell...

they have been changed 'cos theyre clean...but are they the correct spec....

The only difference with the new spark plugs is that they have a different crush washer and tightened to a different torque rating.
