Have a chat with John Priestman at competition car insurance. Tel: 0844 8921966 www.competition-car-insurance.co.uk

They have slight restrictions as to where the car is parked at work and overight but they're pretty relaxed re mods so I imagine points shouldn't be a problem. Includes track day cover too!

I'm back with Adrian flux this year since Chris Knott didn't reply regarding price match, most companies didn't care when I hit 6 points although 3 are now over 4 years ago and will come off when I renew the license this summer.

I just went through Chris Knott, was previously with swiftcover, £550 aged 28 with 5+ years no claims, im pretty chuffed with that.

I have an SP30 from 2007, the guy at Chris Knott said verybody has one of those and it wouldnt make any difference to my quote, I guess it varies from company to company what sort of view they take, I always thought they had a school of thought that getting 3 points might make you a bit more carefull so it didnt affect your premium to much.

We are with Adrian Flux & my wife got 3 points and it made no difference.

As X9 Jimbo says, more than a third of drivers now have 3 points

L & V.
Brilliant to deal with, best on price and no premium penalty for minor mods. eg sport exhaust & free-flow air filter.
