Default Spoon Titanium gear knob

I'm about to buy a Spoon titanium but don't know if the screw diameter is the same on the AP2 as it is on the AP1?

Does anyone know???

I'm 99% sure it's the same. Gearknob's a gearknob. But where the hell did you get an AP2 from?

I thought that it was the designated number given to MY04 onwards? Or is it just for the US?

They've just emailed me to say the screw diameter for the product = 10.

Deal or no deal?

The AP2 is a US thing, for the 2.2L cars.

Is it easy to replace the gear knob? How do you do it?

Also is this Spoon gear knob hollow? I don't think the standard one is, is it? How does the spoon knob affect shifting?
