Squeaky brakes
Hi all
I changed my brake pads the other day and they were fine initially but now they're squeaking a ridiculous amount.
I made sure I copper-greased the backs of the pads and between the shims but I wasn't sure how much grease to use. I only added a very thin layer. Might I have just under-greased them?
Or can anyone tell me what else I should check for? Might giving them a clean help?
Thanks.

If you've copper greased them they should be ok. A thin layer is about right
My redstuff pads squeaked for a while after I first changed them. Run with it for a while before taking them off again.

I found that Mintex pads squeak sometimes. OEMs are fine.
