Default Squeek or whistle at high revs?

Just noticed this today when at about 8500rpm it sounds like a whistle? I've checked oil and the filter is on tight with no leakage so I'm not sure what it could be? Has anyone had anything similar?

Does it sound like it could come from the gear lever area? In cold weather my gear lever makes a ringing sound at high revs, goes away if I push the lever sideways.

Thinks it due to resonance of a bush in the lever assembly, and greasing helps reduce it, but it's till there on mine. Search for 'gear shifter ringing' if the symptoms sound similar.

Some intakes do this.
My Spoon snorkel on my first one did.

It's just a stock intake, it did it in 1st and 3rd gears.
