SRS Airbag light

I know others have had success with this, you basically jump it with a paperclip IIRC the fuse is labelled, I'm sure RISLAR did this too.
Tim, why not just get a replacement pre tensioner from a breakers. Its the bit that the belt clips into by your seat i wouldnt of thought it would be too difficult to replace, i bet its in the honda manual you download.
BTW you can reset the light but it will just come back on again until you fix the fault just like ABS etc.

alot of pre tensioner fault codes are due to a build up or resistance in the connectors under the seat at work we remove the connectors and solder the wires to the corosponding wires this fixes 99% of them the other 1% are if they have deployed, hope this helps

Sound advice, and quite right.
The SRS computer is looking for a very small resistance across the detonator unit.
If this is out of spec is flags a warning and the system is normally then disabled.
The Honda ESM details the reset procedure for the srs computer.
I'll try and dig it out.
Tim, your system is probably not going to depoly with a standing error, but Im not 100% on that.
It is possible to simulate the duff detonator by wiring a small resistor of the correct value across the signal wires.
Then the system will reset and you get the other components back in the loop at least.
