Hi all,

My steering wheel is looking tired and dated. I am going to get it recovered. However I also want to change the airbag cover for a newer one. My car is one of the original 99 S2000's, so it has the old style branding on the cover. I am assuming I have to change the whole airbag rather than just the cover? I am thinking of getting an air bag and cover from either an EP3 or DC5 as I want the red honda badge. My car has been fully resprayed in white with red Honda badges, so wish to continue the theme.

Can anyone tell me if this idea will work? Are the air bags the same? I can test this as I also have a DC5, but don't want to start disconnecting stuff if someone else knows the answer

Can't help with the airbag information but there's a chap on here called robin that reconditions the steering wheels. His work is top notch and he can do any colour combo you like.
