with X-ruckus (well, he does compete his set up so it would be risky to argue ) the 02 tweeter positioning is too close for most aftermarket speakers, hence they sound too "bright". Those of us with 2 way component set ups have either mounted them in the 02 tweeter pods and had to turn down the attenuation or, if pre 02 cars, mounted the tweeters in the A pillars which reduces the problem. Look here for some installs: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=130106

and here for the audio FAQ: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=155209

Kelk - I thought your budget was 50 sheets . After listening to this lot you need to add another zero on the end

yeah there are some here, but it does not show the whole install.

http://ruckus.myftp.org/S2000%20install/

Built to sound good not to look good. Except the hand made custom fuse box billeted from a cube of perspex.

I'm running:
Denon A1n head unit
RF EPX2 28band EQ/Xover (balanced from the HU)
Old Skool RF landmine amps, 240x4 (active front) and 200x2 (bridged mono for the sub)
Focal K2P Mid/Mid Bass
Morel (USA) CR103 Tweeters in the apillers (the ones in the pics are other units i did have installed).
JLW7 10" in a Carbon, GRP and Felt ! enclosure

I think I'm the only S2000 in IASCA this year in the world, there is a US guy but i dont think he has competed this year, so its only me flying the S2K banner..
My highest finish is 2nd (had two 3rd's)which was sweet as I beat the guy that looks like he will win my class this year..

Take a look at the Iasca web site.

http://www.iasca.com/

UK is

http://www.iascauk.com/

But to give you an idea, the classes are split i a few ways.

Power: under and over 600 watts RMS
Street and Ultra: Street is basic install that are safe mainly about the Sound Quality. Ultra has more point for creative install, Muilt media, Motorization etc, This are the mega bling show type installs.
Pro and non Pro: If you work in the industry or for a audio manufactur then you have to go in a Pro Class.

Here a scan of the SQ side of one of my score sheets.
http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/~jhunter/s200...pages/iasca.htm

Theres also the Loud boys in the SPL Classes but there beaters filled with Concrete and Subs so we wont go there .
