Hi all,

Have a rattle that comes from my 'S but only when warm and seems to happen between 1k and 3k or so.

Have a clip of it here; http://youtu.be/Xdjqp7arUNk (although taken in a multi storey so sounds a little worse than it is)

Can't decide if it sounds the same as TCT rattles others have posted up (keep thinking mine doesnt sound quite as card in spoke-ish as others)

If anyone can have a listen and let me know their thoughts would be much appreciated

Does sound like TCT


Give it an oil change (proper oil and filter) and that might help it short term, it did on mine, made a big difference.

Thanks for replies guys did think it might be the TCT (had one ordered with Billman but he refunded me as he had too many requests for them from the US)

Had an oil change ~7k ago which I don't remember making much difference (running 5w30 Castrol Edge) - I do have 8 litres of 5w40 Castrol Edge waiting to go in but am leaving that until before the planned road trip to the Italian GP

Thats the same as mine, i'm just about to order a replacement TCT from Tegiwa and do an oil change to Castrol Edge 5W40. Should cure it for another few thousand miles

Well I took my dremel to the TCT worm gear yesterday and it's alot better today - still has a little noise but that could be the valves needing adjusted
