Tear repair

Hi guys, I've got a small tear in my roof. Read the fix it guide and going to try the tape and foam but I was wondering if there's anything else. Can it be stitched up?

Where abouts is it mate? Above the shoulder? Glass window?

Yup above the shoulder. Yea it the glass window roof.

I used a place near Manchester at the weekend and he did a patch both sides as mine was splitting by the window.

£45 for both sides! Worth the 3hr drive from Oxford, although I did manage to combine the trip for something else.

I stitched mine myself when the hood latch tore the cloth.
Granted it was a temporary repair, but I recon with the right thread and perhaps something to water proof the stitching a neat job can be done.
