I think maybe this is one you'll find with a bit of searching. On my M3 it was a zip in one, but I have a glass one on the S so don't know. I'd imagine it's replaceable though?

Chad.

It has a zip, so surely it can be replaced ?

Honestly I would just replace the entire roof with the newer glass window, made a big difference to mine.

Half of the roof needs to come off to replace the plastic window and a dealer will chage over £400 to do the job.

Better off getting a complete new roof fiited with glass window for around £750 IMO.

There are threads detailing a DIY process for this, but like eSeM, I'd go for a new hood with glass screen.

Monsoon charge £707 for S2KUK (not S2Ki) members and have a good relationship with forum members.

Thanks for your help
It folded wrong when the plastic bar on the inside above the window became unstuck and it has creased and made some tiny holes when it was folded away is it possible to melt it maybe? I don't want to spend 700 on a new roof cause its in good condition other than this bit.

Hi Marklee- depends on where you are or if you can travel, i had same problem with my plastic window. Had it replaced last year by a company in North London called Btrim EN3 4TY- £200 fitted excellent job. I was scared though as they had never done an S before mine was the first! Still leak free and I can see out the rear window now- good luck
