Good one, Swiss Tony!
I discovered that one of those Vag S3 things is about as fast as the NSX up to vaguely-legal speeds. But I didn't intend to race anyone & WGAF anyway? It's still the boringest & pretentiousest pox box on the planet & not for me thanks.
If you want to go really fast, get a superbike or a TVR or something.
Or just enjoy the sheer class; it's not as if the S2000 is actually slow or not exciting.

I test drove one, put a review here: Focus ST review. I don't think it was quite as exciting as the S2000 at the top end (no manic revs) and also I didn't really like the torque steer due to front wheel drive. Having said that though, the accessibility of power due to that grunt was good. The sound was also pretty damn good if you like whistles and wines as well as induction. It's such a shame it looks like a washing machine though.

We are doing one (not quite a shopping trolley but in the same vein as far as this thread is concerned) that is going to be quite quick too CR-Z Mugen
You can't stop progress (but I still love my S2000)

I traded my S2000 for an ST last October, My opinion is that straight line speed they're about on par, as has been said, the ST has loads more torque so it probably could seem quicker if the S was out of VTEC. I'm happy with mine as it suits my needs, but I'd certainly rather have an S2000 out of the two though, by miles!.

Brilliant shots, kinda sums up the whole thread really. Who cares what you drive as long as you're having fun when you find those cracking roads thats all that matters
