I wouldn't bank on selling the RS for a profit in a year, or getting a discount in the first place. I couldn't even get a test drive in one without putting a deposit down. There are quite a number up for sale by speculators, there was at least 1 a week coming up for sale on Scoobynet for list or just below, a few months ago.

Possibly the saleman wanted to sell you a car Neil. As I understand, there was barely a dealer who did buy in a demo car of the RS.
If the discount that I get on all new Fords and Jaguars is applicable, I wouldn't even need to sell it near book price to make all the money back after a year and probably a bit more. The only stipulation is that I would need to keep the car for a year. Like I said previously though, I need to find out first of all of the are any left !!!
