I have found a way to 'fool' the Alpine adaptor

If you flick at the volume up in short 'ticks' if I can describe it that way the track advances to the next one

I ordered some speakers from mcs 3 weeks ago, still not arrived. I am cancelling my order and going to halfords to special order them tomorrow, they will be with me Thursday

Got my rears sort just in time fore the midlands meets. Took Kenny S about four hours to do the template and make sure it was right first time as no precut panels and no spare ones either.

They sound great and definately improve the sound ambience. As for the speakers i would personnally go for some 4" components to give that bit extra in the bass region and you have a seperate tweeter for the high end stuff.
I have Rockford Fosgate rears and they hold up pretty well against the polks.

As for the wires they just run along the console. This is done by just unclipping and thread the wires down untill you come to the end and there is a pdded panel that unscrews and gives access to the head unit area.
To connect the wires i have just joined them to the alpine lomb by splicing them in.
