Default Time for bling?

Right. Here's the problem. I have some money to spend on my car (nice problem) and I don't know what to spend it on. Heres my thoughts;

Cold air intakes super filters etc etc. TBH the car seems fine as bog standard but I like the Muz CAI and usually end up with a K&N on my cars..

Exhaust.. I was really keen to have a louder exhaust but the stock one is quite rorty when you get the revs up and as I do a lot of miles I'm not sure if I'd regret fitting a HKS or similar

So, I'm drifting towards bling, which means spoilers front and rear. Honda dealers want about

All the spoilers are what they say 'SPOILers'

Get a cold air intake to combat heat soak and a decent exhaust for starters.

Forget the loud exhaust if you are doing plenty of miles on the motorway, unless the exhaust makes a relatively mild greater noise, in which case, why bother when there are so many other items to buy?

I would have recommended that you hold out for a second hand spoiler and front lip, but unlikely to see one in the near future which is IOP, perhaps wait/organise another GB. Forget the side strakes - a complete waste of money.

Personally I'd forget the bling and buyt front top and bottom strut braces.

Spoilers don't do the looks of the car any favours IMHO.

You have, however, overlooked the best thing to spend the money on ..... Optimax

Alternatively, spend it on a driving holiday like the Blurters and Rahul - I'm sure you'll remember something like that far more than a mod.

Or buy a few trackdays or driver training - unless you're already pretty handy behind the wheel, these are likely to benefit you as much as any perfomance mod (and they don't depreciate).

Why buy OEM shite and look like the rest of them?

You may as well buy a sticker like this and slap it on your car:

I personally quite like the OEM front spoiler (and the rear spolier is not bad either). If *you* like the OEM items, then stuff everybody else and just get it dude. Its *your* car after all.

There are only three colours that the OEM spoilers (front and back, never seen the side ones) work on IMO, That yellow, Lime green and, yep you guessed it, Imola Orange Pearl. You've got the bling colour, so get the matching bling I reckon.

Steven - hate to say it but the OEM rear spoiler looks a lot nicer than the Mugen. IMO

Agree side thingies = waste of cash.

Muz snorkel seems like a good idea, not overly convinced by these trumpet things!

X brace makes a noticeable difference from what I've read.
