The odds of finding anyone with meaningful experience of both is slim!

It's an alarm... If they both have the same feature set then buy the cheaper one

I had a Toad ai606 and it was brilliant.

Not in the S but on my old Fiat Coupe.

Toad ai606 on mine

imho the installer and installation is more important than the make or model

depends on what you want from it
ie toad is more likly not to give you any problems as clifford
but clifford has the ability to add we extras on which is what id be looking for in an alarm

When you say add on extras what do you mean? Remote start and such?

Are Clifford generally less reliable than Toad??

yea load of wee extras like boot openier and turn on lights and things like that
clifford are a good alarm, dont get me wrong but yes toad would be more reliable. common problems with them are running your battery down if you havnt been driving it for a week or so
for some this wouldnt be a problem as they drive it everyday
but for some the S is a good weather car and track car and might not be used for a week
sorry to go on abit

i've got a battery conditioner on mine 24/7 to keep the battery in check
