Looks well, nice and shiney, stick up a few more pictures. Was the bumper painted separately or is just the angle of picture as it looks a different shade?

Just the angle of the photo, they painted it as it would sit on the car as the metallic in the paint would sit differently. To the eye you can't tell the difference, just shows up on camera every now and then.

Just finished reassembling the interior, back is ruined!

I think I'll go for a small plate and fasten directly to the stock holes.

Seems in being an import I can get away with a smaller plate than normal, especially as I have a 1 in the registration.

Previous owner had just rammed self tappers into the bumper so I had those corrected.

I have trimmed plates because I only have 6 digits in the number, you only need 11mm of reflective material around the edge for mot purposes. Not sure of import regs.

Love this thread, thank you for sharing. Where did you have the work done please? And did you buy a new rear quarter from Honda or secondhand?

I used Norms Body Shop in Cwmbran, South Wales.

I sourced the quarter from IntegraStella who breaks S2000's.

Been sat in the garage for a couple of years, but this was sourced from a solid S2000 that had a front end write off. At least have my guy plenty of metal to work with!

theres something sentimental in me that likes to see these cars rescued like you have done. yours looks great.

i have a 99 which was more of a mechanical rescue but i enjoyed it all the same. getting my spanners dirty, for me that was a big part of it.. it was painted last year, though more for cosmetics than anything else
