I am now very apprehensive driving S2k in wet as there is absolutely nothing I can do to prevent this morning incident from happening! I could easily be killed on the road!
Maybe getting a fatter tyres with wider track? Maybe Chris can improves the handling of the car and help me to get out of those hairy moment??
Any solution other than selling the car or dont drive it at all in the wet? I love my supercharged S!!!!
Fatter tyres will make no diffrerence-possibly make the situation worse.

Chris Franklin will make no difference.

Get some driver training or sell the car.

Why the feck did you buy a turbocharged S

The S is fine in the wet it's the drive that needs to change
Three of us (including my 320 BHP SCed S) did 260 miles (roofs down) round a sopping wet North Wales yesterday.
No problems.
Only "moment" was me doing 70 through a river down the road to spray Ed behind
Smooth and progressive is the key!

How much training do u need to drive on a B road at 30 mph, not even any where near 3000rpm!!! Thats alarms me!
In theory none, but if you're driving a car like that and you're thinking the way you are i.e. "there's something wrong with the car, not me", you should go and see Mr Walsh straight away!!

You'll enjoy the car much more if you're not scared of it.

Listen guys , there is nothing wrong with my drive , I am a very careful driver, I know my limits and how far I can push my suprcharged S
You obviously don't know your limits in this car if you post what you have. It's OK to admit that, as none of us are as good as we like to think we are and have the lost no-claims bonuses and licence endorsements to prove it!

Driver training is the best answer methinks - frankly it should be mandatory if you're going to drive a car with as much power as yours probably has - followed by fastidious car maintenance.

Shit.

I'd better take my CAI off, then: That extra 1-2 BHP is more than Lewis Hamilton could manage.

Wish I'd thought of it before I spent all that money on performance mods.

I am not 'scared' but just more cautious as i got caught out before which I knew immediately it was my fault as I learn to push the limits of the car in early days... I never have any probs and always felt in full control of the car pushing to redline on dry in rural B roads corner after corner..fantastic!!
Hopefully this is one off, maybe I did dip into pothole which I will go back tomorrow to check!

With all respect, you need more than that.
Can you control this car when it gets out of shape?

At some point, maybe already, you have entered a situation you cannot control.
Knowing the limit is one thing, knowing how to react when the limit is not where you anticipated it, is a different ball game.

This car is evil - probably worth getting rid of it before it kills you

It is still September and there is already one bad smash I am aware of.
