(I got my Bluetooth one for <£20).
Here is one for £50 in the uk. Identical looking to the ones on Harrys website that are recommended (I was looking at getting an iphone before staying android).
See this page:

There are some others with zero bids in the UK for even less.

Ugh! I'm going crazy here. I can't seem to get the data info into RaceRender. Or, at least it's hit and miss.
I use a Samsung Vibrant from T-Mobile. Commonly called the Galaxy S or T959. Operates on the GSM network.
Getting the video in is no problem. Always works fine. But the data seems to be hit and miss. Sometimes the dials don't show anything, sometimes they work, but inaccurate (I'm definitely not going 199876 mph!), but most of the time nothing. I'm importing the RR file and the MP4 file as "lovegroova" posted above.
The app exports these files:
aLap20120324-135245-GMETER.csv
aLap20120324-135245-GPS.csv
aLap20120324-135245-OBD.csv
aLap20120324-135245.MP4
aLap20120324-135245.nfo
aLap20120324-123950-RR2-20120331-182256.csv
Am i supposed to do anything with those?
I've asked the questions on the developers forum, but it appears he is no longer around. He hasn't posted since last November, although I did see that he checked in a few weeks ago.
Perhaps I can email the files to someone and you could give it a try? That would be awesome. I really want to view these videos to improve my skills.
Thanks.

It is only the rr file you need for this and the video.
Sounds like you are doing it right so I'm not sure what could be up. When you reply the recording on the phone is it screwed up as well?

Not always. I have an OBD II hookup as well. Sometimes the speed is off. It'll be wrong. or wont't register, or be stuck as some speed. G meter works all the time. For whatever reason the altitude is displayed on the screen. That's accurate as well. I'd like to have throttle position, rpm's, speed, and gear showing, but not sure how to get all that. When I start the app, it indicates that it is connecting to the OBD correctly. It also drew it's own map of the track (it's not a published track) correctly. Shows the Google Earth view as well, but not real accurate as to where my car is.
