You should stick with your S m8! You'll be sorry if it goes. TT's seems are becoming very common these days. Don't get me wrong they are nice cars, but I think the S has the edge!
People won't notice you driving by in a TT, and they deffo won't hear you!

The dealer is offering below book. Parker quote 21680, Glass's 21750 (at 12000 miles)....its possible that those figures are a month out of date of course..hence the difference in price.
Look at it his way, its yellow (one of the most difficult colours to sell on) and its January. If you have any sense, you will either wait until the spring and sell privately, or buy a used BMW 330CI which is a better drivers car, has a far superior engine and seats 4 in comfort. Ok, its not as "stylish" or as likely to turn heads, but having driven both, it makes the TT feel like the rebodied S3/Golf that it is...
Not meaning to state the obvious, but color choice is crucial for residual values, especially for upmarket brands like BMW and Audi. Next time, get a strong metallic or black...they can fetch 5% more at trade-in over a white, yellow or custom colour.

Agree with you about colour but when I got the S2000 i wanted one quickly and the dealer had one in stock. Colour grows on you but have to agree easier to sell a more normal colour
