Hi,

I can find the vin plate in the engine bay and everything looks normal there, but I have seen here https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/841...n-body-panels/ that there are vin stickers in the boot, rear bumper and inside the doors.

I cant see any of those stickers, do uk models normally have these? In the link I posted that car doesn't seem to have the vin plate that I have so maybe the VINS are in different locations for different countries?

Mine is a MY05 if that makes any difference.

I've never found any, the only serial number I've found is the one on the engine and I checked that matched the one on the plate on the slam panel. I've had my wing off to remove headlamp washer and there's no VIN on the underside of the panel either.

I don't think that the USDM cars have the black riveted plate on the slam panel like we do, so maybe the stickers are their version of identifying the car.
