Undersealing the S
I've read about under sealing, stone chipping, painting the car so it's body colour underneath and just about everything in between today and I've made the decision that:
I want it sprayed so the finish is high quality.
I want it done on a lift by someone who's done it before due to the nature of the product.
It's a sticky, god awful job and one of the few I think is worth swallowing the pennies for and paying.
So this weekend I'm going to put the car in the air and de-gunk the paint and get what's under there as clean and so on as I can. I will probably add some deox gel next weekend and let it sit on the car for a couple of days to pull any nasty rust off. Then i'll drive it to someone who can acid etch prime, zinc spray & finally underseal and apply several layers so it's done.
I want it done once, correctly and the concept of spending hours of my own time doing it and getting frustrated with the finish, simply isn't worth the hassle.
