Sump baffle for parking?!

Dave, you are paranoid.

It's fine, leave it alone

As Si says, braking at 1g (which the car is capable of) is the equivalent of a 50% gradient.

Sump baffle for parking on a slope!!

was just curious if it made a difference and where the pickup was located.

I worked in motorbike shop and the was a case of Kawasaki (forgot model) that if left to warm up on the side stand because where the pickup was located they where seizing Is what got me thinking about up or down the hill

If I park uphill I lose like 2-4 bars on the fuel gauge when I start up. If it's already pretty low I usually have a brief WTF moment as the fuel light comes on and it shows as empty.

1G of acceleration (including -1G) is like parking on a 45degress slope

i have had this as well, i was running low on fuel parked it up it ran for few seconds and then conked out had to roll to the bottom of the hill where it was flat and i had 2 bars left

Park downhill, you won't need to use the starter then. longer battery life.
