Default Vibration when accelerating

My cars developed a problem recently...when accelerating between 40 and 50mph there is very obvious vibrating from the rear end. Only happens when accelerating and stops when I drop the clutch or come out of gear. Happens in 2nd 3rd and 4th gear - not tried any others. Gave the wheel nuts a quick check today and they're fine and I haven't hit a kerb or anything with it in my 4 years of owning. Anyone any ideas of what it could be and what are the things I should check...?

Thanks.

Usually this issue is drive cup related. Swapping them left to right sorts it.

Yep, likely the cups, swap them round from the left side to the right and vice versa, replace the grease and put back, job done. I did a thread on it somewhere if you can be bothered finding it.

Thanks. I'll give it a go once I get my winter wagon back - been at the garage for nearly a month! I'll have a look for your write up nut, if I can't find it I might be in touch
