Thumbs up Video Camera Mount

Hi All

Can anybody tell me where I can get hold of a camera mount for the S before Mega Meet 1.

Have a word with AE - he has a Rick's one I believe which sits on the mounts for the wind deflector IIRC. It looks the proper bit of kit.

Or you could follow Poppa Eagle's design and drill into the secret compartment

Like this?

This sort of mount is only good for shooting behind the car. If you shoot forward you will get the rear view mirror in the middle of the frame. Cost >

Check my sig. I think I received it within a week from Tims2K (bought from him via ebay). The only problem I have is that my camcorder has a little play as I can't quite tighten the screw up sufficiently - will be solved by a washer for MM1.

Hi StevenM

Just had a quick look at the Motrax bike mount, and see it has suction cup legs to attach it to the dash, seems like a good idea, but how do you attach it with the aid of velcro to shoot forward facing shots.

The suction cups will not stick to the dash because it is not smooth

The legs on the mount are all fully adjustable with an Allan key so you can mount it on a sloping part of the dash and still have the camera flat.

hi there

does anyone have experience with the Cullmann accessories?

(they have a mount with large suction cup and lever; they also have some clamp mounts)

Got one for sale as dont need it any more and unlikely to get another S for a very long time.

I would have mounted mine on a piece of strong plastic or gloss wood and velco that to the dash board.
The suction cups are removable so could just bolt some plastic to the legs and velco to that.
